Default 3.7 L Clutch Fan Removal

I know this topic has been beat up, but I can't seem to find any info on the 3.7 L V-6....I live in Florida, and it gets HOT here in the summer.

My truck DOES have a factory e-fan in addition to the clutch fan, but I am still hesitant to remove the clutch fan. Seems like it's there for a reason.

I do some very light towing occasionally, but only about 1500-1600 lbs (small 16 ft boat) and only for short distances (less than 20 miles) and rarely in traffic.

I am assuming that it will be ok to remove, but what tools will I need? Does anyone know of (or have) a step-by-step tutorial for my engine? Thanks in advance.

u can rent a clutch fan removal tool at auto zone or whatever. and u need a c-clamp. put a c-clamp on the water pump pulley to keep it from spinning and unscrew the clutchfan. simple job.

And the fan isn't holding the pulley on or anything, right? Once I unscrew it I don't have to worry about anything falling off I hope lol....
