sticking steering

Default sticking steering

97 dakota 4x4 3.9 100% stock. when its been sitting in the cold for a few hours the steering is "stuck" if you you to the right...feels like no PS...then a few seconds, it works fine and wont do it again till its set in the cold a few hours....
anyone got any ideas?

LOL maybe your warm tires get stuck to the cold ground are you new to driven?This is true you know.

Is it only in one spot? If it is on the same spot when you turn the wheel..i.e. 3oclock or whatever..there is the universal in the engine bay that gets sticky...a good dose of lube rectified mine....speaking of...she's due for another round....

Hey Wedge....born and raised in Big Indian Ny....know all about all kinds of things freezing to things... dont get quite that cold here in NC...with it happening just the first time you turn right is what gets me....crank it left no problem then it will hang...just a second then fine...will hit the u-joint anyway
