If you have a cam, you will need a custom tune for the cam itself. The 91 can tunes he sends are just a general tune with more timing and better fuel curves, with a few other tweeks.

What size cam did you get?

If you want the full benefits of the cam and power, you will need to have the truck on a dyno with a wideband or data log with a LM2 or something and send Sean the files to have it fine tuned.

I used a "can" tune on mine when i first started up the new motor with everything installed. Once i got it logged and sent out to Sean the very first tune was night and day difference from his can tune.

Also someone asked about Hi-Potek TBs, they are good, they are made just as good if not better then Fastmans. He is a good guy and I trust him over Dan.

so when my fuel pump was dying i tried to fix it by returning the pcm to stock. didnt work. anyways i forgot it was on stock untill the other day and reloaded my 91 tune. damn, like i said before yall gotta get SCT, hemifever is the bomb. im going to need new tires soon, launching at every light and drifting around every corner sure as hell is fun.

Can somebody tell me a bit more about the 05 intakes? Mine is a stock 2000, so probably isn't allowing me to get the best out of my KRC 212x cams (yes, CAMS! 4.7'S have TWO). What years are the best?

Also I'm still using a Superchips 3715. I guess a SRC programmer with a proper custom tune will help? If these items make as big a difference as you all say, I MIGHT hold off on the gears!

Thanks.
