does anyone know if the 02 dakota came pre-wired for a trailer or do I have to go to the dealer and get a complete wire harness and install it?
It came wired if it came with a tow pkg but look online and you can get a harness for about 40.00 and it plugs in with your tail light connectors no messing with wires and finding which does what. Dont go to the dealer to have them install it they will most likely rip you off uhaul also does trailer wiring they will prob be cheaper.
i bought the truck used so i dont know if it has the tow package. used dealer has lied about a number of things with it. do you know exactly where i can find that kit
