lol yeah.

Well on that note. The 250 turned over with a breaker bar on the crank, so I think I'm in decent shape...

Yeah sorry about the off topic thunder. and bpark youre definately in good shape. How is the rest of the truck? If its in a shed it shouldn't be too bad.

The body isn't in the greatest shape but no the worst either. I'll post a pic.

I'm not too worried about the body though. We are going to through a wooden flat bed on the back so that takes care of all that. The one thing I'll look for is a cab in decent shape. That's what it needs the most. A lot of it was vandalism. Some kids smashed out all the gauges and what not.

That's start... especially considering the price haha. I'd get it running and maybe driving before worrying about the body. But definately a wood flatbed would look great on there, I want to get one for my dak but theyre really expensive (metal ones), and theres not really any point besides looks.

Yeah I'm not worried about the body at all right now. Just want to get it running and make sure the brakes are ok. I probably need to replace the brake lines. That is my priority.

I've owned a lot of trucks in my day. cars too. The 1 chrysler I owned was a $$ PIT. I sold it after 1 year & had it in the shop almost constantly.

So far - my dakota has not been free either, but I consider this stuff mostly maintenance. I bought the truck with 145k miles & it was due for a bunch of stuff.

I'm hoping to not spend any $$ on it this year. We will see - it now has 153k

I keep thinking nothing else could go wrong... then it does. Between the money I paid my truck and the amount I've put into, I lost enough money to buy a 12 - 13k dollar vehicle.
