Turn the key nothing turn it again starts right up. Buy the way new here its a 2001 Dodge dakota 4.7L 4x4 Thanks

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere. Check the battery terminals, and relays first.

Yeah check the batt connections my truck was doing pretty much the same.

Well at least it starts. Like everyone else said check the connections lol. There seems to be a lot of new members like just this month I'm still kind of new but at least I don't link chevy wheels on posts.
