Default Gibson Headers...

I have come across a set of Gibson headers locally.
They are Chrome, for the 4.7 V8.
Does anyone have any experience with these headers? Pros, cons, etc?

I know I will have to do some modifications to make the Cats work properly, but I already have Axle back duals, I was thinking of doing true duals this way...
Any advice is welcome!

Really the manifolds on the 4.7's flow just as good as headers do so really the only pro of it is looks.

for a stock motor you won't gain much performance and if you do try a high flow cat like thunder has

My Intention was to put Vibrant High Flow Cat's on each of the Headers, then run straight back to the rear exit with a nice 3" muffler in there somewhere...
If there is really no benefit to putting headers on the 4.7 then I won't waste the money...
I'm just gonna stick with my HID Retrofit, HID Fogs, and spray in Bedliner for mods right now...

What about not on a stock motor.. like Programmer, Throttle body spacer, CAI... how would the headers make the engine run then?.

also, I'm running True duels now into 2 glasspacks then out and she sounds GREAT, the grosses sounding dakota i've ever heard. manifolds, cats then cherrybombs(2x). Loves the grunt from these things...

As to Sound, What would the headers w/glasspacks sound like opposed to stock manifolds w/glasspacks?>...

IF i could find a set i'd also be interested in getting a set of headers, But if the manifolds already flow just as good theres not much point unless they produce some mean mean sound.

Dont think it will that much and toss out the tb spacer it does absolutly nothing on fuel injected vehicles.

No worries! This is helpful for everyone!
I've got a TB Spacer, it does nothing but create a hella cool whistle, and I get a little better throttle response...
I think looking at the work involved with replacing the Manifolds with headers, high-flow cats, glasspacks etc... if there is no power improvement, it is a big waste of money for little result...
I'm just gonna focus on other things until the 4.7 blows :P
