I got mine off a 318 on a wrecked full-sized Ram at a you-pull-it junk yard, $65.00. I paid $20.00 for a throttle cable to match it off a wrecked Durango at the same junk yard. Plus I picked up about 20 lug nuts off the floor of that Durango and they only charged me $5.00 for all of them. It's a great yard, all the guys working there are very cool.

Dakotalover, what other mods have you done? I ask because I got a good improvement on my 5.2 with a lot simpler mods that should be done first. First I went to a Flowmaster muffler, and duel exhaust. even though it was a split system single inlet, duel out. it helped a lot, I went through several air filters before I found one that really helped. Believe it or not the best system I found was the stock air box with a K&N filter and the intake moved to the side of the radiator. After that go with a good set of headers before worrying about a TB. Can't put 4 horses through a 2 horse gate. As my Dakota has many miles on it when I finally had to replace the muffler (300,000 mi.) I went with single out. even though it is better than stock there is a much better gain with the duel outlets. Would strongly suggest having a G-Tech before you even start trying to improve performance, then you can get hard numbers rather than "it feels better". Just the ramblings of an old man that has been street racing since the mid '60s. could spend all day talking about some of the things I've learned over the years.

Depends on the year model of your truck. If you have a '96-'03, then yes it will bolt on but you will have to change your throttle cable to a '96-'03 V8 cable.
