i like the no muffler sound too. ive had mine off for several years now, except i still have the rest of the exhaust going out the back. i had to much cab noise otherwise.

im bout done with the mods at 100k so its all keeping the truck alive now plus i can crush any trucks on the street around me except for the r/t's and such

 

well it actually reduces friction/heat which will save the tranny.

ive been wanting to take my muffler off, it has some kind on it now but whats the point of a good sound if a mustang pulls beside me and drowns it out. it angers me lol
