Question Question on changing transmission fluid...

Question. Which is better?

1. Typical pull off pan, drain, replace screen, reassemble, fill up again...

2. Have the service done that completely changes out all the fluid. They remove it all by suction and replace it...

i called a local trans shop and asked the same thing. they said to just drop the pan. if you do the full flush it can slipping.

remember atf+4 only

What about the Valvoline MaxLife DEX/MERC ATF? It's synthetic and supposed to be good for just about everything...

everything i heard is only, only atf+4. the mopar stuff is synth anyways.
