Whats the normal operating tempature for a 1999 dodge dakota with a v8 318

thermostats going to be a 195. so just under that would be normal. 212 should be dead center, thats when the stock efan turns on in the 4.7's.

are you running hot or cold?

I'm running cold i had a 180 thermostat changed to 195 temp gauge is just a little past 130
