I know 4 lo on mine(electronic), only shifts in stopped and clutch down, like N in auto....

I havent had to dig out yet...but I did almost beach it in the drive when I had to let a plow go by....stupid loss of momentum...

In the ram(electric shift) I shift to 4wd high anytime up to 50 mph then for 4 lo you have to be in N either moving slowly or stopped.

yeah sometimes it takes some work to get it into 4lo and it wont always go in where you stop you have to sometimes just creep and keep your hand on the lever until it pops in. it can be intimidating until you have done it once or twice. I know it was my first few times

tryed it again, with mine i had to stop put the tranny in N then the 4x4 shifter would move past 4hi into N then again into 4lo. what a pita but it feels like i could rip the tires off if i launched on dry pavement.

Wish I could have gotten some pictures when I went home this weekend. The snow in the front yard is waist deep. I was going to go out for a drive in one of our fields (we have 160 acres) but couldn't even get into the field because were the snow plow went by in front of the entry the snow is 4 feet deep and all packed down lol. I couldn't make it through.
