Yet another tranny question

I have a '99 automatic with 164000 miles. For the last couple of weeks, it's been slow to shift into 2nd. But the problem disappears after a few minutes, when it's warmed up. Any ideas? Thanks.

when was the last time you changed tranny fluid. my tranny is always slow in cold weather.

You should chage trans filter and fluid and adjust the bands. Owners manual says it should be done every 37000 miles.
