Trying to find out what controls the parking lights to come on when you start my 97 Dodge Dakota 4x4 sport. Afew days ago it stopped working.I can pull the light switch and they come on. Since the radio is wired thru the lights I have to turn the lights on to get the radio to come on. Thanks for your help

 

Good question, mine doesn't do that, have to turn mine on manually.

 

Is it an aftermarket radio? Did you do some custom work? Stock fogs? Very fishy wiring setup.

I know some aftermarket, like my pilots, need a 12v supply, which I set up as keyed, like a remote for a stereo, but stock, just sounds wierd.
