Default turbo

I have been watching a lot of videos on youtube of 5.2 and 5.9 dakotas having turbo set ups. And twin turbo set ups. Is there a company that makes a turbo set up for the 4.7?

Super Chargers are better, they are motor driven and do not have to 'build up' as with a turbo.. Turbo's run off the amount of exhaust, so there is a delay in their actual usage..

ROFL... I once modified my smog pump on an old ford and made it work 'like' a super charger... LOL

But superchargers rob the engine of power due to friction. Obviously they produce more than they take, but there are pros and cons to both.

Yea you can turbo pretty much anything but will need a deep pocket. Not sure how much boost the 4.7 can handle though.

Unless your racing or using high revs a lot, there is no point in spending the coin on a turbo. Superchargers are cheaper, much easier to install and are better suited for an everyday application in this situation. You shouldn't run more then 7-8 psi on stock internals, even 8 is pushing it. 6 psi will give you a nice boost in power safely
