I would check for any power at the actuator.

Mine was actually cracked the day I picked it up from teh dealer, they replaced my whole trans/xfer cause I was going out of town 2 days later.

If that has power, prob a bad unit. I havent looked at these much, cause, well, mine works! good luck

Start by checking your 4X4 fuse under the hood.

I have a 02 with elec shift and i replaced my tccm, picked up at scrapyard for 100$, which was giving me service 4 wd light, and he had to program it for right transfer case, it thought i had a 244 instead of 233, and now i need a new shift motor, gets stubborn at times then i tap side of motor with snow brush and shifts fine, dealer told me it was giving me mode sensor error...therefore shift motor going..ridin it out with a few taps now and again, waiting for nicer weather,

I think that the TCCM is the same for the 233 and 244. The only difference between the two is when the 233 is in 2WD, the 244 is in its AWD mode.

u r correct, but when my truck was hooked up to diagnostic equip, the tech asked me whether i had a 233 or 244, and he then informed me that tccm thought i had a 244, he then switched it to a 233 and it was fine
