Can a 5,9L fit into a 4.7L Truck

2000 Dakota 4X4 4.7L V-8

yea for sure. they made a 5.9 quad cab. and thats a truck they put a 4.7 in.

it'll fit but the mounts are different and such...not as easy as swapping in a 5.9 to a 5.2 equipped one but definitely will fit like sonderegger said.

yeah, some mods involved though. I think the bellhousings are different bolt patterns and you will need some stuff to work specifically with the 5.9
