i took it out the other day and went down some power lines to play a little. and i know theres some big trucks that tear that place up pretty good so i stayed away from the deep rutts. well it didnt work out like that lol. i sliped off in some deep ones and felt the front bottom out hard. i put her in rev and she backed right out with out a fuss. i was very impressed with them.

nice good choice thats what I have...32x11.50's tho but they are awesome! i didn't really lose any mpg even with the bigger size but they are heavy as hell and mine at least took a crap load of weight to balance right.

Where did you get your tires?

I got my tires at Discount Tire in Indianapolis.

They let me try out 2 pair of tires before I settled on my present (third ) set.

What happened was this...

Back in December I went into Discount Tire looking for some tires. I wanted to get some BF Goodrich Mud Terrains but they did not have my size in stock and I needed tires bad. The salesmen said they were having a special on Falken Rocky Mountain Tires. He showed em to me and they looked very nice and he assured me if I did not like them I had 30 days to bring them back for something else.

Well I hated them...way to much sway; the sidewall were way to thin. So 28 days later I bring them back and they exchanged them for for the 31x10.50x15 inch BF Goodrich TA's. For the next few weeks, I loved the way they handled and the truck looked good but the tire looked a little thin on my truck.

So get this. I go back to discount tire 29 days later not expecting them to swap them out for me yet again. However, I told them I was not 100% happy with my choice in tire. I said the tire handled superbly but that I would prefer a bigger size. I told him that they have already gone above and beyond in customer service but if they could see to it to exchange them for me for the 32"x11.5x15 inch. That I would be willing to pay a restocking fee even.
I explained I would hate to be stuck with these tires for the next five years. That if they could not do it I would understand anyway. I was honest with them.

So you know what, they ordered the size I really wanted, did not give me any dirty looks, they did not charge me a restocking fee and told me they just wanted to see me 100% satisfied. ( I still had to pay for remounting and balancing though but that was OK any place will make you do that...completley understood that)

Get this, even as I they are changing my tires to a bigger size they mounted one with the white letter out and one with the black side walls out (no extra charge for ths) to see which I preffered on the truck. I went with the black sides out. They even gave me a great price on the tires and told me if I can find them cheaper within 30 days to tell them and they would match it.

Man I am 100% satisfied with my tire choice and with Discount Tire. That's a tire company right there! (No, I don't own stock in the company and no they are not payng me to say all this )

Maybe you could talk to your tire sales people and maybe they will let you change them out..? It's worth a try.

Your tires still look good though.

I cranked my torsion bars just about an inch and I have no rubbing at all with my 32 inch BFG's. Yes I will need an alignment but then again when you purchase new tires you should always get an alignment anyway. Protects your investment.

Anyway no rubbing issues going with the 32"x1150x15 and the tires look friggen awsume. They look great blackside out as well. (.....and in my most humble opinion better than with the white out others may disagree though...personal choice).

Do it go with the 32's....but do pause to think about even more wieght issues with the wranglers if your concerned about it.

I'm sure others will chime in about weight issues, or other concerns which is good cause others helped me choose the right size/tire for me.

Keep us posted.

I put 400 miles on the Falkans and only about 220 miles on the 31" BFG's. Drove them both in snow, rain, dry and mild to moderate off road. Car sat mostly cause I was out on busines). Regardless though, they would have changed them had I put alot more miles on them, I do beleive, cause the issue of milage I acumulated on either never came up.

If any one is considering the Falkens. I think its a good off road low speed tire only. Highway speeds it's down right scary tire in certain siturations.

On the other hand the BFG's were/are fantastic.

I wrote up a review on the Falkens on this forum to help others cause I couldn't find one when I was looking for some opinions on them here.

BoeingMan,

What Discount Tire store did you deal with in Indy? I have a friend who is Asst. Manager at the store on Michigan Road, at least that is where he was in November. They move the Managers and Asst. Managers around all the time. They do want you to be happy with their service and have helped me without question also.

The Discount Tire store I went to is located on Lafayette Road on the northwest side of Indianapolis.

If you see your freind tell him great service at the Lafayette store and they have a customer for life from me and my girlfreind and an excellent reference from me to anyone needing tires.
