sorry i always get confused with the trans. the 545 rfe isnt the 5 speed. i know for a fact the tmr is only for 3plu pcm with the .7's. and the sonnax is for 45RFE & 545RFE. as for trans go look at their site for application guides. sorry for the mess up.

So...I installed the sonnax today. I just love how the exhaust pipe was in my way. Besides that...I'm not sure if it just takes a while for the computer to recognize it. I've noticed a difference right away...very subtle, though. If I haven't driven my truck for years now, I probably wouldn't notice. It is rainy outside, and cars are everywhere, so it's hard to get a true feel at WOT. It's no miracle, but it did improve. 2-3 feels nicer, for sure.

Yea I've done the tmr mod. Nice jolt 1-2 =P If things are played out well, the tires chirp pretty well. Rainy day and every chance I got on an on-ramp there were cars in my way, so...I'll just have to see a little later on.

well actually no. Idk...i hate losing all my saved info on my radio =P I just figured I'd let it learn. I'll see how it feels when I drive my way back home from class next week. Nice clear highway at 9:30PM Hopefully the weather will be nice.

I fitted a Transgo kit and I was rather underwhelmed but the difference! If you're going to drop the pan and change the oil/filters then you might as well fit it but I wouldn't bother doing it otherwise.

Sounds like the TCM mod and Sonnex do a better job without getting covered in oil!
