So i just got back from a trip to Kansas. when i was gone i had a guy put in a new water pump in the truck, because the old one broke and ended up covering my engine compartment in coolant. anyways when i got in the truck to start it, it took about 3 seconds for the starter to crank the engine before it started up then no problems. when i parked it and tried to start it again 15seconds later, the starter just cranks the engine but it wont start. the starter is getting plenty of power and works fine.the engine just wont start. I thought it might be because its 15degrees out here in MN, but then why would it start the first time? could the coolant being sprayed all over the compartment have anything to do with it? some got on my passenger side exhaust manifold and smokes ( i wonder if i got somewhere else?). any suggestions would be of great help
Thanks
Jim

Have you tried to disconnect the battery to reset the computer? Also, is it throwing any codes?

havent tried the battery yet, but it did it again where it started up on first crank after about 4 hours of just sitting, ran for about 5mins then shut it off and tried to restart it again, and it wont go. i tried "priming" the fuel pump by turning it on waiting for a few seconds then starting it but it did nothing
