hmm this got me curious, so I adventured out in the mud that is my parking lot and I don't have them at least this gives me a reason to get out to the junk yards now since it will hopefully be nice enough out soon...of the 4 years I had the truck this is nothing I never ever thought of thinking about getting enough haha...guess I don't beat it enough offroad, but now that its soon getting to the end of its life and I will probably try to wheel it a little more, maybe it will have to be one of the last mods I do so it holds out long enough to get a new truck...good post i must say thanks for the pics ramguy

Yeah no problem. When I bought my truck my intentions was not to beat it but even the nicest path can have some major things on it. Up here in the mtn's of pa you come across nearly everything, no lie.

I've got two of 'em but I had to literally scour the country calling dealerships and old parts databases to find mine. I didn't have much luck finding them at junkyards. I got the front plate from a dusty dealership going out of business in Kentucky and the transfer case plate from a dealer in Idaho who had no idea they even had the part.

I'm missing the fuel tank plate, but after doing some research, I'm thinking it'll probably be easier to have someone fab the fuel plate for me as mounting it (even a junked one) looks like a task I don't want to tackle.

My 04 has the ADL Skid Plate Group.

According to the build sheet, that includes:

XEEP Fuel Tank Skid Plate Shield
XEFP Transfer Case Skid Plate Shield
XEUP Front Suspension Skid Plate

They're pretty minimalist...but at least they're pristine. The original owner pampered it and obviously never left the pavement.

my brother used to have a 99 grand cherokee 5.9 limited.. he had skid plates on it. i am wondering if anyones knows is the skid plates from a grand cherokee are the same or not. i think my brother may have a couple of the skid plates he ordered before getting ride of his gc..
when i did a google search using the part numbers from the faq section brought me to a grand cherokee site..

they might its hard to tell and i seen the gastank skid plate online somewere i think it was ebay and it was new but with a $200 price tag the only bad thing about them is having to remove them to work on much of the underside of the truck but still worth having them
