ok so i have a friend that has a 2nd gen dakota... its time for some new tires and he asked me for some advice... he is running 31x10.50's on his stock rims... is that the biggest tire he can go on a stock height truck without lifting it???
ok,, not only that but can i do a pml on this??,,, adjust torsion bars if it has them or if it has coils can i do a spacer?? he just let me know that he kinda wants it up a little bit,,,, also he just told me its a 2000 v8
Biggest he can go with without a body lift/suspension lift is 32/1150. I had to crank my torsion bars to fit my 32/1150/15's under my truck. If he does a body lift and cranks the torsion bars he can fit 33's
i dont think you need to crank the t bars for 33s? i thought you just needed the 3" BL..i may be wrong, i was going to anyway for the look and the "just in case" fact of it. But yeah he can only fit 31s stock, if you crank the t-bars you can get 32s on it, if you search it many have done that like dodgeramguy i do recall a thread when he put his tires on, and theeplaymaker also has a thread about it.
