Default Yet another "low heat" thread!

Need your help guys! My old 99 has had heat issues her entire life, the usual coolant system flush always has taken care of the problem until this time. It's not that I don't have heat, it's that I only have good heat while moving, as soon as I stop at a light she blows cooler air, come up to speed and she is pumpin out the heat. Is this the classic coolant lines not running right?
So here is the question, which line is supposed to run to the top of the heater core? The one off the water pump or the hose coming from the intake?

The water pump is only a couple years old and the coolant flush I just did was the entire system, rad, block and heater core.

Thanks in advance!

Once I did my flush.. it was doing something simular.. as the water pump is pumping more hot water through the system at a faster rate.. so you will notice a slight increase in heat..

Anyways.. to answer your question.. Heater Hose on right (Passenger side) coming from the top of the intake manifold.. should run to the core.. to the top pipe (This is in)

Bottom one from core (Out) runs to side of water pump.. at least on my 97'...

That's exactly how my 99 is. Well it's better, but it's still not as good as it should be. Well it won't be a problem for much longer....my 2011 Ram will be here in 4 weeks.

Well you said a flush has always taken care of the problem so this leads me to believe that the core is plugged up again! There are a few ways to unplug it. Clorox, air and water or the last resort easy off oven cleaner. We always had a problem with our heat in our 95 grand cherokee got to the point where it was like oh well. Back in sept I did easy off trick and it blows heat like you wouldnt believe but you have to be careful and wear gloves and make sure not to get it on any painted surfaces.
