Default Replacement for the 42Re

What do you guys put in for a good replacement?

Need something that can handle the abuse of a V8 and 43" tires.

If you want to stick with an auto, I would go with a 46RE or an NV3500 if you have the option of going to a manual.

the NV3500 and the NV4500 are a manual unit, if your sticking with a auto, get the 46RE, make sure it has either been rebuilt or you have it rebuilt, and get a good tranny cooler.
