Havent personally used it but my buddy has one on his chevy 2500(tranny and rear end) Holds more oil so guess thats always a good thing, seemed to be pretty HD too.

Hhhmmmm....don't have a skid plate, unless the crossmember that runs under the tranny counts.....course I don't have the $300 to get the thing either
