Exclamation Interchangeable Parts?

(Solved) I need a 97 dakota transmission crossmember and my friend is parting out a 98 durango, are they gonna be the same or should i keep looking?

Default dakota transmission

i have a 1992 le clubcab, v-6, automatic w/od, will a 1996 tranny work on mine, i understand they added a electronic shifter in '96, will that make problems?

No it will not work. 96-up have computer controlled transmissions. 95-down hydraulically controlled. I don't know why you posted in this thread that is unrelated to your question. And your in the wrong forum. This is 2nd Gen. 97-04. You need 1st Gen. 87-96

i believe it should if i am not mistaken the frames are the same as long as they both have the same power train

thanks for all the feedback i decided to get the part from the durango my mechanic put the part in today and works like a charm
