Default Help with winter Rims

I have a 2004 dakota 4WD with 265/75/16 tires .I can get a set of 15x6 steel durango rims for cheap any idea if they would fit ? I think the rims i have now are 7 or 8 inch so i was just wondering if 6 inch is ok i know going down to 15" should be fine .Thanks Terry

They should. the 6" is the rim width, so thinner isnt generally an issue, unless the backspacing is changed. Then you might run into caliper clearance issues. If theyre worth it, or local, borrow one. if not. then just have to get more measurements, or some guys here are running 15" steelies.
