well depenin on if the lifter is weak or not it could take a lull while for it to pump up. i seen a mazda mx3 my buddie got take 45 mins for it to pump up when he bought it. the car sat for a good while and when he picked it up it was tickn. he drove it to his house that was about 30 mins away and it sat idealn in his yard and slowly pumped up

Well that makes me feel better frydaddy. Thanks for the reply. Like I said earlier too, when I would start it after it sitting for a day or 2, it would tick for maybe around 5 seconds or more then smooth out. I'm thinking this is the same deal. I'll let you guys know what happens, and if anyone else has any more ideas let me know. Thanks.

This happened to my buddys ram he was leaving one day and made it about a mile then turned around and went home and parked his truck like 5 hrs later started his truck and lifter was real loud(if you revved it the sound made me cringe) Anyway he let the truck idle for 30min and it went anyway all by itself has been fine since.
