dude i attempted to do my hid kit two days ago but was yours just a plug and go or no? because what i get from the instructions is that all you need to do is plug everything up and you take the light bulb out from the truck and unplug it and take that connecter and connect it to the hid kit and put the light bulb in and mount the box right? because my connecter doesn't match up to the one off of the truck... idk maybe because i bought it for a 99 and i have an 04 now idk what the difference would be...

It might be different then there should only be 3 wires for it. Mine was all plug and play.

Nope only hard wire was going to the batt. The only thing I had to do was switch the ground and one other wire in the clip to get low beams to work other than that it was all simple. The kit is for a 9007 bulb right? If so it should hook right up.

This is what my kit looked like. The relay part had the blue connector shaped like a D with 3 wires in it that went to my driver side factory headlight clip.
