efan ?
so a while ago i ditched the clutch fan and put a efan on from auto zone. ive noticed that when im sitn still in traffic when its kinda warm out it will rise to 210. and if i shut the truck off to go in a store or somthin when i come back and start it it will be above 210. then drop back down to 195. im kinda worried cuz it hasnt even go hot out side like it will be soon. i wired the fan to my fuse box so it comes on when the key is on. any one think than it isnt get anuff volts to turn fast from the fuse box. should i wire it to the batt with a switch? ive heard the some times you have to move the fan away from the rad about a half a inch? idk what to do. i really dont wanna put a clutch fan back on it. ideas? lol
well when im driven down the road its right between 140 and 210. so i figured the guy i bought the truck from put a 180 in it when he put a new water pump in it. or would that be more like 195 right in there? i also put some purple ice in the rad when i flushed the rad and blew my hearer coil out. idk if it helped but ive heard it does.
damn. u should have gotten a chevy hhr efan off rockauto for 55 bucks. its minimum 3k cfm. keeps billys truck cool even under crazy boost.

i think im gonna do an efan here soon, im gonna use the efan wiring harness that comes with the relays and temperature sensors so it isnt constantly running. I just dont know what fan to go with. What kind of modding did billy have to do with that hhr fan tomount it and what not cause 55 bucks dont sound bad
