Default Oil Pressure & Overheating Help!

Just need confirmation of the threads I've read online.. so here is the short back story

(Not sure if you have kept up but I have a shudder right as I take my foot off the break and give no gas.. hole truck shakes like running over those things along the highway.. )

For the past month or more it seems after a while of driving or sometimes a short trip, 3-5 miles.. to the gas station. Park turn off for a few mins. come back and crank up.. all dash lights go off but the check guage light and oil pressure is 0 for a few moments then slowly climbs to above 20.. then sits there.. you really have to stomp the gas to get the oil pressure gauge to climb when its in one of its mood..

This happens just about every time i drive the truck kill it then restart it..

Today I was in heavy traffic stop and go.. first the truck started Idling about 800-900 in drive.. (normally has been lower) WoW! no shudder.. I was like wth going on..

Then all the sudden.. Check guage light came on.. and temp started to climb..

Every time I came to a stop in teh stop and go traffic.. Oil pressure guage would go 0 and check guage light would come on.. give it some gas and the guage would go back above 20ish..

an cycle continues.. I turned on the Heater full blast once the temp started climbing above 210... was not near 260 yet.. but was about a 1/3 past 210 mark (Strait up on gauge)

The temp came down.. but the oil pressure continued. Truck seemed to have 0 power.. once i got moving finally past the traffic seemd to be ok.. drove for about 30 miles.. (Granted it was above 20 doing 70mph which is not normal)... let it set in the garage for a bit and went for a drive.. everything was fine.. but after a short run.. guage went to 0 on startup then slowly climbed as always..

So are my suspicions correct, I have a faulty Oil pump? I wonder if this has been the issue for the shudder? Perhaps? Thanks guys

get your self a real oil pressure gauge and then see what you have I really doubt the pump is bad you might try using some heavy diesel oil wont hurt it any if your oil p goes up then you probably have mains getting loose there are some old tricks to take care of that but you have to pull the pan to do it might want to start looking for a replacement engine the 2 symptoms you said are both bad

Indeed they are.. Its like the pump is loosing its prime or something.. but in any case I convinced the lot to do troubleshooting on it.. to see if its the pump or not.. Imma take it to them nice and hot and make sure its doing its right above 20 BS when I take it in to them..
