passenger door project
Hi all,
So just a quick preface, I have a 99 dodge dakota, and the passenger door is complete smashed/destroyed. the truck is still perfectly drivable, but that door needs to be replaced.
rather than try to find a used door at a junkyard or something, I thought I might try to install an industrial canvas door similar to a jeeps. Nothing fancy, just install some snap rivets and snap it in place, then surround it with a rubber seal.
just curious if anybody has any experience with anything like that?
thanks in advance

If you have a welder and a tube bender you can do anything. It would prob look really weird on a stock dakota tho, on a lifted one with off road bumpers and roof rack and stuff it would look pretty sweet.
Would kinda remind me of this hahah
