Default Won't Start When Raining?

My mother's '03 Dakota, V6, 80k miles all of a sudden will not start when it's raining. I'm sure this has been a probably in the making over time, but I'm not even sure where to start. The only thing I could suggest was Isoheat...any help?? Thanks in advance!!

A guy a while back had this same issue, ive seen it before on a plymouth voyager and it was moisture getting into the coil pack when it rained so my guess is its in her ignition somewhere

Distributer cap, also check on the crow above the hood, on my 03 wTer dropped down on to the main wire. I made a simple beAd with gutter seal so the water runs off. Good luck

IS there a cap with the electronic ignition? I haven't seen one on my 01 4.7 each spark plug has it's own coil.

no cap and rotor on the 4.7 it has coil packs on each of the cylinders
get the truck nice and wet and check under the hood and and check under the driver side dash for water i am wondering if the ctm or pcm is getting wet and shorting out the ignition
what happens when you try to start it does it turn over or does any of the accessories work
