computer issue??

Default computer issue??

ok. this is my problem. it was 10 pm and i was driving down the hwy and my heaadlights, dash lights, tail lights and cab lights started blinking on and off. stopped my truck and put itin park. then my horn started beeping randomly, windshield wipers were going by themselves and door locks were freaking out. its a 2001 dakota qc with the 5.9. i checked all positive wires all grounds. replaced allll my relays and its still doing it. only does it when it warms up. now its ping me off. has neone ever had this issue or am i a lone duck here? could it be my ecm?? idk. ne input would be great

its probably your CTM. common problem with daks.

Its def your ctm. It controls all that crap. You might be one of the lucky few that can just unplug it and hook it back up and might work fine. Then again I think Ive only heard of 1 person having success in doing that. Its a dealer only part. You can get it at the junk yard but the truck it comes from needs to have all the same options as your truck and if you have keyless entry that will need to be programed by the dealer.

yea its def ur ctm mine went bad i spent 350 on just the part itself from dodge luckily i dont have power opts so thats all i needed no programing, but its right behind the drivers side kick panel, i say buy it from dodge and put it in urself in the parking lot only a few bolts and wiring plugs takes 10min and have dodge program anything that needs it, its a lot cheaper they wanted to charge me 300 just to install it lol

Before you go out and get one. Call around to a couple dealers first. Some places really screw you over for dealer parts. Ive read were some people call their local dealer then call the one 30 miles down the road they are charging 100 less for one.
