well in my experiance, there are only 2 hoses on a filler neck, and i wouldn't think there was any other vent unless there is one ontop of the tank itself on the pump access cover, so i would start with the filler neck itself you should be able to get it out without to much problem as it connects to the rubber hoses that go to the tank itself, and more than likely your problem is, but if not then move onto the rubber hoses themselves

Not sure if this will help but my wife's 2009 Hyundai Sonata had this problem. You had to fill the tank super slow or the pump would click off. It did it often but not every time and it would do it with any gas station pump. Also, the check engine light would come on when the fuel level was at about a 1/4 tank or less. But again not every time. Oh, and it would spit fuel back out at you if you weren't careful.

We took it into the dealer and it was a bad vapor(evap) canister. After they replaced that we can fill up normally and no more check engine light and that's been over 6 months ago.

On the gas tank you have a fill hose, a vent hose and you have one or two rollover valves depending on the model. So the problem is either a bad vent hose, a bad rollover valve(s), a bad hose leading to the evap canister or the evap cansiter itself.

**************************************
OPERATION:
The rollover valve(s) will prevent fuel flow through
the fuel tank vent (EVAP) hoses in the event of an
accidental vehicle rollover. The EVAP canister draws
fuel vapors from the fuel tank through this valve(s).
The valve(s) cannot be serviced separately. If
replacement is necessary, the fuel tank must be
replaced. Refer to Fuel Tank Removal/Installation in
Fuel System.

EVAPORATION (EVAP) CANISTER DESCRIPTION:
A maintenance free, EVAP canister is used on all
vehicles. The EVAP canister is located under the
vehicle, inside the left frame rail, in front of the fuel
tank (Fig. 3).

OPERATION:
The EVAP canister is filled with granules of an
activated carbon mixture. Fuel vapors entering the
EVAP canister are absorbed by the charcoal granules.
Fuel tank pressure vents into the EVAP canister.
Fuel vapors are temporarily held in the canister until
they can be drawn into the intake manifold. The duty
cycle EVAP canister purge solenoid allows the EVAP
canister to be purged at predetermined times and at
certain engine operating conditions.
