My 99 5.2L, 5 spd may need a new motor and I've found a used one from a 97 ram auto. I know that they should be the same motor but is there an issue mating the 5 spd to the crank of the new motor if it originally had an auto?

you will just need to make sure you got the pressure plat off your old motor and get a new pilot bearin for the new crank

 

So the new motor's crank will accept the pilot bearing?
