Front speaker Questions.
As you all know Our speakers come with 2 wiring harness's, My front 2 speakers are shot and needs to be replaced. The ones im looking into Have a different style of hook ups opposed to the *connectors*. The newer ones have just the 2 prongs.
How have people wired these, Cut the connectors off the wires and just Connect a couple of Female connectors for the Male ends on the speakers?

Best Buy, Crutchfield and some independent car audio shops sell speaker wire harness kits that take the guess work out of wiring the new speakers. They plug right in to the factory speaker wire connectors in your truck and have the correct size terminals on the other end to connect to your new speaker. Crutchfield may even include the harnesses for free if you buy from them.

What you want is a Metra 72-6514 wire harness. Just did this for my Dakota. No need to cut or solder/crimp anything. They worked like a charm.
Bought these from Amazon for a great price.
