Default Open differential solution..?

I'm sick of the one wheel peel on a dirt road or wet road...

I got a 99 Dakota 4x4 sport 3.9L, and wanted to know if there is any "how to video" on a lock right locker install/ or a Aussie Locker?
I was wondering if its something I can do in my garage or if i gotta take it some were to get done?
Giving by what my VIN says its a Corporate 8.25 rear axle.

any suggestions or reviews which is better for our trucks?
I do mostly highway driving and wheel on the weekends...

Also weres the best/ cheapest place to get the lock right or aussie locker from?

I got a buddy who put a pair in his '99 TJ, Dana 30 front, Dana 35 rear and he likes them, but he's quick to say that it's a good thing he has a separate daily driver. Tight turns leads to a good bit of ratcheting and pulling in/out of tight parking spots is a bit tough now.

If your truck is a daily driver, I'd do a true LSD myself, either an Auburn or Detroit TruTrac. If you mainly use this thing off-road and really are only on pavement getting to and fro, they would be fine...

Go to www.youtube.com and type in LockRight Install. TONS of install videos.
Best place to buy is going to be www.summitracing.com or www.ringpinion.com

I have a No-Slip which is the higher performance LockRight. I LOVE IT. It's on my Dakota and it was a Daily Driver in the city (Till my SAS). NOTHING compares to the traction you get from it. I had the LockRight too. I never had any problems with ratcheting noise.

The only down side is when turning from a dead stop can make the tire squeel. You have to go light on the pedal to keep the locker from locking up. Sometimes I will just stop further from the turn then push the gas hard to go straight then use the momentum to turn with my foot off the gas.

Anyway its pretty easy if you know what you are doing and if you have the right tools, also dont forget you have to set your backlash.

With the LockRights you don't have to mess with backlash.

I welded my spiders on my Dragstip Trans Am. But I welded the teeth gears just so I don't destroy my case.
