on my 2002 QC, the previous owner had a camper shell on it. it had a third brake light on the topper, and the wires were run back through the bed panels and exit near the tail gate. well i sold the topper cause i had no use for it. my third brake light on the cab does not work. does anybody know if by wiring in the connections for a topper if it would make the cab mounted light inoperable? i have checked the bulb yet. but is there a fuse for this light i could check too?

check the bulb. when i bought mine the 2rd light didnt work either and just replaced the bulb.

Mine works when it wants too. Check the connector could also be crappy and not making a good connection.

 

it is common not to have the bulb in there if you have a topper on the truck. that way there is no glare shining in.
