Default HELP. Hit a rock, alignment off.

First post completely new to the forums. I was driving a friends 2001? Dakota and hit a rock pretty hard with the front end. I was going maybe 15mph and it jolted the truck pretty good. The truck seems to drive fine, but the wheel is off now about 45 degrees to the right. The truck doesnt seem to be pulling at all. What could I have done? I have attached some photos of the damage. Could I have just knocked the alignment out?

Thanks so much.

i think thats just the front skid plate thing. if its not pulling then you can just get the steering wheel moved back to the correct position, either by yourself, dealer or maybe a tire/allignment shop.

So just took it for another ride. Now it appears that sometimes it pulls to the left and the right and other times its fine? I don't know whats going on. The front end almost feels loose as well. Could it be a tie rod?

check tie rod ends and other various front end components. or take it to a shop and get it re-aligned.
