So i guess previous owner installed this and i have no clue what it is. It has a hot and a ground, and 3 wires that run to each head light. My first thought was hid kit but my headlights aint hid plus they suck so i aint sure. The box dont have any markings on it either.

 

might be for fire lights. kinda looks like the box my buddie has. were on the fire team here in my town and i helped him hook up his strobes in his corner markers

 

look for a switch of some kind under the dash in glove box. center concole. from the looks of things it look like a wig wag kit. people put them in show cars all the time. other then that only thing i can think is some kind of strobe lights like the ones from advanced. thats the only thing i have seen that kind of box with before.

 

funny you say that, i forgot that there actually is a toggle switch mounted beside the radiator and when i turn it on the box makes a humming sound but i dont see anything happening

 

well i just took a better look at it in the dark, with the switch on just the passenger light ligt up faint blue, after flippin the switch a few times just the driver light came on real faint. So i started tapping the box and it flashed real bright but i guess the box is broke cause it will only flash when you hit the box. Also ive noticed theres what looks to be an electric horn on the driver side fenderwell beside the battery, i aint tried traceing the wires yet to see what does cause i wasnt sure if it was for an alarm or somethin, cause my truck does have a blue alarm light mounted in the dash
