Short Throw shift kits?????

Default Short Throw shift kits?????

OK so i pulled the tranny out of my truck found that the boot to the shifter is broken. SUCK i k but i figured no time better then the present to put a short throw kit in it!!! im looking for a good kit. having a hard time locating one.

i have a 1997 5.2 Nv 3500 4x4

any suggestion im more then open!!

Well, I have one I picked up. It doesnt fit on my 04 as I expected. I think it was designed for the 97-02s...where in ny are you?

Hurst made the only one. They are discontinued.

BTW DakMan, if you make a 1/4" spacer out of some steel plate, it will fit an 01+ NV3500.

haha...I think i was looking at 3/16", but yea....I tried to whip one up when it was 15 deg out....not workin too good. Soon! thanks for the extra info!

Im in Saranac lake. and i knew hurst made one but they dont makew it anymore. im looking for someone that may have one out there. used or other wise. i really need one well changing the clutch last week i broke the mounting boot and im out my truck and its killing me because this is one of the best mud seasons we have had in a long long time.
