The truck i have has 44,020 miles on it and I noticed that when you take the oil cap off there nothing but gunk. I wanna do a engine flush but was told it would just destroy the motor. Any chance this will be safe to do? Sorry for so many questions lol.

Will get it done soon hopefully. Took my 2000 dakota in to see how much better i could get it to run lol. New bosch 4 plugs cap, rotor and got the intake system flushed out cause it was all dusty. Next ill get flush after i see what the tuneup today did to mileage.
