Default My 1st Truck

I am new to dodgeforums, so im still getting used to all of this and im not sure how all of this is supposed to work but, i hope it comes with great help.

Im 19 yrs old and im looking for my 1st truck. I found a 2002 4x4 dakota SLT quad cab for $7,000. The truck has 140,000. I dont know anything about dodge trucks, i dont know how reliable/dependable they are. Since it is my first truck I want something thats going to last. Also, i wanted to know how they performed offroad, mainly in mud or sand.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for all the quick responses!

So I shouldnt worry about getting this truck?

It has the 4.7, is that a good engine?

for 140k miles and being an 02 7k seems high to me. My 2001 Durango only had 109k and I got it for 4200.

4200 seems like a steal to me. 7k may be a little high but i dont think its outrageous, especially considering its already lifted and has wheels and tires which by itself is about 1000
