Default Tire Size

I was wondering how to tell what was the original size tire that came on my truck. I have a 98 CC 4x4. The sticker in the door jam lists the tires as 215-75-15 buyt the tires on my truck has 235-75-15.

If memory serves me right the tire size in your door jam is the "stock" tire size but because its a 4WD it has larger tires. I thinks it either for 4WD or a package that your truck has which gives it larger than "stock" tires. For example inside my door jam it said 245/70/16 but my truck actually had 265/70/16 tires on it.

Request a build sheet from dodge it will take a day or 2 for them to email you one but you will know everything that came with your truck. Oh and tire size depends on model and if the owner ops for bigger tires such as my truck came from the factory with 31 inch tires
