Front CV axle seal HELP
Bought a replacement CV axle but it didn't come with the seal on the outer end that closes off the back of the hub/bearing assy. In the top of the picture it's the goldish colored seal to the right of the spline and nut. I've searched all over the net and can't find a source or even a stand alone picture. Anyone have a idea where I can get one of these, part#? The Advance Auto people are no help. First guy said it was in the box ....IF..... I needed it, second guy sold my son the inner seal for the other end in the transfer case.
Any Help is appriciated.

Just an update in case anyone ever encounters this same problem. Searched all over net and hit every local parts store. This part is not available and was phased out. The guy at AutoZone was able to find it on a 96 Dakota parts list and older 90's Ram parts list. It's called a SLINGER. However we decided it was on the 97 first year Gen 2 Dakota as a hold over from the old greasable wheel bearings. Not needed with sealed units in hubs now. No one ever replaces them when replacing hub bearings or CV axles.
