Default changing rear axle shaft

Hello all. I was wondering how difficult it is to replace the RR axle shaft in a 98 dodge with a 8.5 rear end. My wife laid my truck on its side a few months ago and I just got the cash together to put it right. It took months to get body parts for the thing and then get them all painted. Now I'm looking at replacing the bent axle shaft in the thing. It's been sitting in the garage while I tore the top of the motor apart and got it cleaned out. I was wondering of any simple tools I can use instead of having to rent a bunch of tools to do the job. I heard it's rather simple to change axle shafts out in dakotas and figured I'd just assume do it myself and save the $150 the shop wants (more than I paid for the axle shaft itself). Thanks a lot guys!

Thanks, I figured that was all there was to it, but wanted to make sure there wasn't going to be any big surprise to it. Hopefully it''ll be running after this weekend.
