front diferential broke

Exclamation front diferential broke

hi...!!! im new on the forum and i need help with something i would thanks if someone could upload images or just ask my question i got a problem with my dakota 2001 i get stuck and the front diferential supports break but it only have atached the front ones (those atached to the engine) but at the end of the dif. it have some extra holes with nothing and they are exactly equal to the front one and i need to know if i need to make a suport to those one i suspect that the front ones broke becase there arnt the back ones please ask my questions and i woulf thanx you so much if you could upload some photos for have an idea... thnx

I am not sure exactly which ones your missing. A picture of exactly what your talking about would help. Here are a few pics of the front axle brackets from the service manual which you can download in the Stickies or the FAQ just a few posts above this one.

thnx bro those are missing are thoe atached on the back part of the axle those near to the transmision bar thnx bro that help me a lot

Personally I do not like the design. Wish I would have checked the truck out.. but I assumed being it was a truck it was not built like a AWD or Jeep LIberty with its axel tucked up in the chasis.

Wish they would have built these trucks like they do the wranglers.. and not using the engine mount assembly as the mounts for the damn half shaft.

yes and the worst mine broke because it didnt have back supports or brackets....
