Default howd they do that?

Hey Yall, I havent been in in a while. Work has been crazy busy lately. Anyways, I have a question. How did dodge make the R/T sit an inch lower than std pickups? Icould see them doing a little bit shorter spring in the front maybe but I'm a little bit puzzled about the rear. Is it a spacer? Less leafs in the spring-pack? Different hangers? I'm currious because one of my springs is sagging and needs to be replaced and I'm also interested in lowering it a little bit but not exactly sure exactly how I want to do it.
