As far as new a-arms, I wasn't sure about whether I would need new ones with the 3 inch coils. I actually talked to the seller on the phone and he recommended the 2 inchers. There's another company called spring tech (I think) that makes 2.5 inches but those were a lot more money. Did you get the coils from that guy too?
The way you originally worded it made it sound like you meant putting v6 coils on a v8. My B!

I'm almost positive you're going to need new upper A-Arms because I know that its enough of a bitch putting in 2" coils with stock A-Arms. Literally the only possible way that it wouldn't be a bitch is with a spring compressor; but I've never had luck with those, so we took a few minutes smoked a cigarette and looked around and realized, it's dangerous, but to use a hydraulic jack under the lower arm as a spring compressor and then hammer the spring in..not gonna lie, I was a little scared at one point it was going to pop out on me.

Either way, let me know how you're install goes. If you wanna talk more just PM me. I don't wanna takeover this thread lol

EDIT: To answer your question, I did order coils from him at one point but had to send them back, because they sent me v6 springs. I have a v8 haha. Just been running spacers up front for a while. Ordering the doetsch 3" later this year, so Im just throwing in the extra inch right now to stuff 33"s then add in the 3" doetsch, re-run a spacer or two and slap 35"s on it. Who knows.
